Free Defibrillator and Emergency Bleed Kit Awareness Session

Active Fakenham, in partnership with Fakenham Town Council, is offering a free practical awareness session to help local people, businesses and community organisations respond more confidently in a medical emergency.
Defibrillators and emergency bleed kits are located at several sites across Fakenham, including in the town centre. This session will explain what the equipment is for, where it can be found and how it may be used while emergency help is on the way.
Led by Fakenham Community First Responders, the session will cover:
· The recovery position
· Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
· How to use a defibrillator
· How to use an emergency bleed kit
· How to respond safely and confidently in an emergency

The session is free, but places are limited to approximately 24 participants, so advance booking is essential.
