Ride North Norfolk 2026
Sunday 30 August 2026 – Fakenham, North Norfolk
A friendly, non-competitive cycling event with quiet country routes of approximately 15, 25, 36, 66 and 102 miles. Choose the distance that suits you and enjoy clear route signage, refreshments, mechanical support, a finisher’s medal and a warm welcome back at Fakenham Community Centre.
You do not need to be a British Cycling member.

We take photos and videos throughout the event. When you sign up you agree to these being uploaded to our media channels for you to download and also for us to use for publicity. We will remove any photos you do not want us to use if you inform us.

Ride North Norfolk – Important Information for Riders
Registration and start times
Registration takes place on the day at Fakenham Community Centre, Oak Street, Fakenham, NR21 9DY, which will be our event headquarters.
102-mile route
- Registration opens at 7.30am
- Riders may depart from 8.00am
All other routes
- Registration opens at 8.00am
- Riders may depart at any time between 9.00am and 11.00am
Please report to the Community Centre when you arrive to collect your rider number and complimentary drawstring bag, containing a Fakenham 50 drinks bottle and other extras.
Everyone who enters will be contacted before the ride with further information, including full registration and arrival details.
Parking
Free parking is available at:
Olivet Way, Fakenham, NR21 9TD
We are grateful to James Beck Auctions for making this parking available. Vehicles are left entirely at their owners’ risk.
Other car parks are available nearby, some of which are also free. Please visit the Visit Fakenham website for information about parking and getting around the town.
Family, friends and supporters
Family and friends are very welcome to wait at Fakenham Community Centre while riders are out on the routes.
Food, fresh coffee and other refreshments will be available throughout the day, with entertainment during the afternoon. Fakenham town centre and the River Wensum are also only a short walk away.
Make a weekend of it
Fakenham is only ten miles from the North Norfolk coast and is an excellent base for exploring the area over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The town has hotels, bed and breakfasts, campsites and caravan sites. Active Fakenham is also holding the Fakenham Arts Festival throughout August, featuring work by more than 45 artists in 60 venues, together with workshops, exhibitions, films and other activities.
Why not stay a little longer and enjoy everything Fakenham and the surrounding area have to offer?
There is plenty of local parking, including some free parking, as well as bus services from Norwich, King’s Lynn and the North Norfolk coast.

British Cycling membership is not required
You do not need to be a member of British Cycling to take part in Ride North Norfolk or to enter online.
We are working with British Cycling, which provides our online entry system and event insurance. As part of the entry process, you will need to create a free British Cycling account, but you will not need to purchase British Cycling membership.

- All this will be happening in the Community Centre Garden, alongside free music to keep the festival vibes flowing!
