Join the Fakenham Hat Walk 2026! 🎩

The Extraordinary Hat Company and Active Fakenham invite you to be part of a truly colourful and creative community event!

Join us in the heart of Fakenham for a fun and scenic walk, celebrating imagination, community spirit, and great causes. We’ll meet outside Aldiss before setting off on a relaxed walk around the town, with planned photo stops along the way—including the Museum of Gas and Local History, offering fantastic opportunities to capture your amazing hats in style.

This year, we’ll round off the event with a relaxed picnic, giving everyone the chance to socialise and enjoy the day together.

Wear a Hat!

Whether you choose a whimsical creation, a classic design, or something completely outlandish, every hat adds to the spectacle. The more creative, the better—help us turn Fakenham into a vibrant celebration of colour and fun while supporting important charities.

• Date: Sunday 10th May 2026
• Time: Meet at 12:30pm | Walk starts at 1:00pm
• Location: Outside Aldiss, Fakenham, NR21 9HA
• Address: Aldiss, Bridge Street, Fakenham, Norfolk, NR21 9HA
• Route: A gentle walk around the town with photo stops, including the Gas Museum
• Finish: Picnic gathering at the end of the walk

The walk is free to join. There is plenty of parking and the walk is less than a mile long. There is a café in Aldiss.
