Active Fakenham - supporting young people with Project Connect

Active Fakenham - pleased to be supporting young people in our town
ACTIVE FAKENHAM is keen to work with people between the ages of 16 and 25 and so we are supporting Project Connect Norfolk. Getting involved with your local community can be fun and rewarding. Active Fakenham, working with Project Connect, have plenty of opportunities.

We are running five festivals through 2025, ranging through running, cycling, film, arts and riverside events and many other activies. We have lots of opportunities for you to get involved with.
Why not get in touch and help us by
- volunteering at one of the events and being part of a team
- making a short film on your phone or with a camera and getting it shown at the cinema (see over)
- getting involved with our arts or cycling festivals in August
- sharing your skills and working with us to put on an event or activity of your choice
- we are running some workshops, including creative writing, photography, singing and more, and we are sponsoring two free places to each workshop
- We are planning a free film making briefing session and workshop at the Fakenham cinema – keep an eye on our website and social media for details.
