Fakenham Info Hub

About the Hub

The Fakenham Info Hub delivers mostly free services and information to Fakenham residents, visitors and local businesses.

Fakenham Info Hub (FIH) was set up by Active Fakenham in 2016 and is now part of the Active Fakenham group of community organisations in the town. As such, it is overseen by Active Fakenham although it is managed by local volunteers and has a large amount of autonomy. Any income and expenditure generated by FIH is accounted for through Active Fakenham. It was set up by volunteers and received a small start-up grant from the Fakenham Town Council. You can visit the website at www.fakenham.info/.

Come Visit!

FIH has a base in Sweets’n’Things, who donate the space and staff to the centre for no charge. It has a website which was produced and is managed by Wensum.net for no cost. We also have a Facebook page and Twitter account. This is all done by volunteers although we pay for some services if we raise funds for specific purposes.

We also lobby and campaign to promote Fakenham, including for the restoration of the Fakenham Tourist Information Centre which was closed a few years ago.

We would like to thank the many local people and organisations that have helped us in the past and continue to support us.
